Rouman Ebrahim has been serving as the Assistant Head Deputy of the Cyber Crime Division in the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office since April 2021. In that role, he oversees day-to-day operations of eight attorneys and three staff members.

Previously, he was the Deputy-in-Charge of the Victim Impact Program at the Van Nuys Branch where he supervised seven attorneys who prosecuted cases involving sex crimes, domestic violence, child abuse, hate crimes, elder abuse, and stalking. In his 24 years in the office, he has been assigned to East Los Angeles, Newhall, and Glendale Area Offices, as well as San Fernando Branch, Antelope Valley Branch, and Sylmar Juvenile. He spent eight years in the Sex Crimes Division and six years in the Cyber Crime Division as a trial attorney before being promoted to management in 2019.

Rouman is a graduate of USC and Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. He is a regular instructor at the FBI Computer Analysis Response Team’s Moot Court instructions for Forensic Examiners and Computer Scientists in training. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional with an emphasis on U.S. privacy laws, standards, and practices.
